The deep sandy loess soil of Flanders is ideal for the cultivation of large leeks with long, white stems. Ideal for industry and the vegetable market. With production of almost 240.000 tons, Belgium is one of Europe's major producers.
According to the customers's whishes, leeks can be supplied loose, in bunches or packed in nets.

  • Store in a cool place
  • Cover at higher temperatures to prevent drying out
  • Do not stack too close together in order to maintain air circulation
  • Cut off or remove all damaged leaves
