Carrots

Flanders' carrots conquer the market.

The deep loess and polder soil of Flanders is excellent for the cultivation of carrots for industry and the vegetable market.

These low-nitrate carrots with a high dry mass and long shelflife are increasingly in demand on the vegetable market. In spring and summer they are sold in bunches with green tops, while washed carrots are sold at auctions in winter.
